Strong Representation for
Challenging Times

As your voice in the State Legislature, I am committed to representing everyone in District 22. Integrity and honesty are vital values when it comes to communicating and getting things done. Above all, having the opportunity to assist citizens in our community with personal problems and trials have been one of the most rewarding aspects of my job at the capital.

Working with Salt Lake County Public Works department and Mayor Corroon’s office, I was able to implement the completion of the north park entrance to Pleasant Green Park, which was overlooked during construction. this entrance posed a dangerous hazard to park users entering and exiting the facility.

I have sponsored HJR3 legislation recognizing the Utah Cancer Action Network and Utah cancer care providers and the need for more prevention, early detection, and treatment in our state. SCR6 protected the residents of District 22 by authorizing storage of industrial nonhazardous solid waste in a contained landfill.

Co-sponsoring legislation such as HB0132S01 Autism Treatment Fund, HB0345 Elected Officials: Restrictions on Lobbying, HB0070S02 Retrofit of Compressed Natural Gas Vehicles Amendments and HB0287S01 Legislator Salary Amendments are actions that confirm to my constituents that I have your best interest at heart.

Working for you in the Legislature is both an honor and a privilege. I have been primed for this position and provide the experience and concern our communities need. I look forward to representing you and your interests in November.
